The Turtle, illustration from Night at the Zoo: Latecomers

You’re a Latecomer –

The Turtle

Slow. Supportive. Surprisingly valuable.

You may take your time, but you never leave anyone behind. While everybody else rushes ahead, you make sure the whole group reaches its destination.

“I'm coming!”

In the game

The Turtle needs two movements to reach an adjacent tile. At the Zoo, it scores 8 VP plus 1 VP for every other animal that makes it home.

About the expansion

Night at the Zoo: Latecomers adds four new animals to the puzzle game Night at the Zoo – the Turtle, the Meerkat, the Monkey and the Crocodile. They don’t change the base rules, but they bring new ways to move and many more puzzles. A copy of Night at the Zoo is required to play.

About the base game

In Night at the Zoo, night has fallen and some animals have secretly gone for a walk! Guide the runaways through the dark landscape and bring them safely back to the zoo before the keepers notice. Every animal moves in its own way and scores in its own way, so think carefully about when to move and which action to use.
